Yeah I just like to play at least a few missions of the story first then I move onto MP and finish SP up a few days later after release.

Completely different story mate, dedicated servers are the ones they're talking about for PC, not the consoles.
I'm pretty sure that Treyarch would definitely have some influence over the console servers, as they would obviously have to pay them to use online features..
