Hotly anticipated computer game Call of Duty: Black Ops is likely to outsell tins of beans by two to one when it launches on Monday.

The latest in the hugely popular shoot-em-up series is tipped to shift 1.5million copies on its first day, becoming the fastest selling game of all-time.

Stores including Tesco, Sainsbury's, HMV and Game will slash the £54.99 price tag and open at midnight to cater for eager fans.

Gennaro Castaldo, of HMV, said: "Technically, this takes gaming to the next level."

We've known this for months really, It's been beating MW2 just on pre-orders for past couple of months and loads of people just buy it on the day.
