Play.com follow the rules of street release. Its most likely been dispatched too courier which will hold till it the 8th , You will most likely get it on the 9th same happened with Mw2 last year.

I preordered my MW2 from play.com, I got it on the day of release even though it was dispatches like 4 days before release date.
