If I were to go, what time do you think would be reasonable to get there, and get it in a decent amount of time? Like 10ish? And my second question is, lets say I went at around 12, how long do you think I would have to wait to get the game.

id say go at ten and ull at least be 6th in line. if ur there around 12 maybe an hour wait

For MW2, me and my friends went to get it at GameStop for the midnight release. They made us come at around 10 to make sure we had everything paid for and give us some special receipt to show we paid for it. The line was wrapped around a whole shopping center and I seen pretty much everybody get their games within 30 minutes.

Most of these places have made the process as easy for them and their customers to get you in and out.

I dont know where you live so might be more people going but i am going at 11.30 i dont think much people will be going to the store i am going to ( ASDA )

Ok so I just called my local Gamestop in Bristol, and they said that if I come around 5 I can get a ticket for the release, so I'm not sure what that's about, so if you know about that, let me know. And I'm thinking about just going a little after 12 and wait a little bit to get it, since I preordered it I'm guaranteed a copy, right?

They probably have you come pay for the game and they give you a ticket so you can come back later and just give them the ticket. That way its fast and not everyone is waiting for other people to pay at midnight.

Well the GameStop where live told they are expecting over 400 people to show I'm going at 8 PM to make sure i get mine really fast.

Do you live in Pennsylvania by any chance? My local Gamestop is in Bristol too and the said to either go early or go late. I'll be going at 12:30 so hopefully there will not be a long line. Yes you are guaranteed a copy.

No, I live in Connecticut. But I guess I might just go at like 12:30ish to get it, or wait until tomorrow after school .
