This happened to me back at the release of MW2, I don't know if it's the same thing but if it is you'll have to get a new router. The reason is that not all routers have ports which are open for these games...sorry .

Dude if its ports all you have to do is DMZ your PS3 or forward the ports for B.O. Both methods are done on routers settings, ip for router to change settings are usually 192.168.1.1. or 192.168.1.2
