I then killed some dudes, got to 7 kills in a row without dying, got the helicopter... And just hid to let the chopper do the work and I just collect the next reward at 11.... I got 6 kills with the chopper, and it never came.

Also, earlier, I was playing, got 3 kills in a row, killed one with the rc car thing, and then I got a few more and died. I was 7 and 1... No chopper..

Does the kill streaks count towards your next reward, or no?

No killstreaks do not begat killsteaks in this game.

...Really? I'm pretty sure this was one of the first things comfirmed. It looks like you don't check the forums much so I'll let it slide this time haha.

But yes you actually have to get the kills yourself to get the next killstreak. None of this get to 5 kills then hide in a corner until your killstreak gets you a gunship/whatever.
