I'll aim at an attack helicopter, hold down aim until I hear the three beeps and then fire. The helicopter doesn't go down there.

Is there some trick to using rocket launchers on PS3 that I'm unaware of? (I played MW2 on 360). Or does it simply take two hits from a M72 Law to take down an attack helicopter?

Sometimes it takes 2 Hits...Try to get behind the Helicopter and then aim and shoot quickly

the attack helicopter has 1 flare. Just go and shot down the helicopters that bring the care packages. if you are fast you can destroy the helicopter before it drops the package. and yeah sometimes you need 2 hits with the M72 to take something down.
