To whom it may concern;

I recently bought Call of Duty: BlackOps for the PS3

Since the games release, there have been many problems which contribute to a poor gaming experience. There were some minor updates from Activision but there has been minimal communication from them, and not a single apology. There have also been a lot of complaints from other PC gamers on online forums (please view: forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=997 and You must login or register to view this content. ). You will notice a lot of complaints about poor connection issues, poor quality support from Activision, etc. In essence, I have bought a product which does not work properly.

I believe that the lack of technical support and the selling of a game, which evidently was not ready for wide scale release for the PS3/PC, is cause for concern. I recommend that BBC Watchdog investigate the issues (poor customer support, lack of communication, bad online gaming experiences, poor final product, etc) as I have been mis-sold a product that should be working in it's entirety.

I should also mention that this game, purchased online, or at a store, is non-refundable, which adds to the annoyance of it all.

With my kind regards,
(name goes here)

To everyone saying we should be patient has the mentality of a retard and fails at life, this game should have beeen ready for release. Too many times publishers are rushing out games to maxmise profits and using us the consumer as beta testers. It sickens me that so many people are having problems and they havent got the deceny to even keep people informed of what is happening, this is buisiness at its worst and have never had to wait for information or not knowing what is happening for any product i have brought, and shouldnt expect it with this either.
Fair enough their are people who can play it that doesnt mean that other people dont have the right to complain.

I suppose its ok if your mummy goes out and buys it for you or if your sponging benefits, but for the rest of us that have to EARN our money we want to be treated a little better.

^^ Thanks to whistleblower for the wording.

Hopefully if enough people send an email to the Watchdog team they'll realise something is seriously wrong and pay attention to it.

Oh by the way, video games have featured on this programme before so they do take it seriously.

If any of you think this is "funny", please move on to another thread. This is an entirely serious post from a disgruntled customer who has once again been shafted by buying a bugged game.

Cheers

Sim

Should also be fair that ps3 users get the chance to complain

Will have to keep an eye on Watchdog and see if they get involved Smile

I haven't had any problems with the game and I have been reading david vonderhaar's twitter. He replies and answers peoples questions all the time.

even if the unlikely happened and watchdog featured this, there would already be a patch out by then.

Im sure there was something similar with MW2 W@W and Cod4 and nothing was done.

I agree these games should be a little better for release and wish there were public betas on all platforms first.
