Treyarch was amazingly quick with a patch but are they going to follow through with the punishment threats they have made before and after release?

If they are only going to reset levels ( all they may be able to do themselves ) then they don't have the backing of Sony and Microsoft on consule banning.
Many have said that they or friends have gotten temporary bans for boosting.
Are they going to drop the ban hammer on all of the presitge hackers out there now?
Maybe they need to hire some of the NGU SB mods???

Even with the *NEW "USER AGREEMENT" SONY has put out and 3ARC saying they will BAN people I don't think the hammer will fall as of yet. If your boosting you get a 48 hour Temp Ban, if your modding it might be a PERM ban however glitches they fall somewhere in between so who knows one thing is for sure you will get reset and I'm thinking if they reset you they will probably make some kind of note or something on your profile that you were caught and if it happens again it might be stricter. Only SONY could hand out a Console Ban, depends what kind of agreement they reached with 3ARC.

Sure, there were a whole lot of hacks and exploits in MW2, too many as a matter of fact. Even I did the prestige hack, went in Challenge Lobbies, etc.
But, come on people (who have done the prestige exploit on Black Ops {or any other form of hack or exploit already}), Black Ops is 4x (or more) better than MW2, the least you can do to show the game developers you appreciate their work in creating this game is to play legit and not hack (or at least don't do ONLINE hacks)
I doubt the Treyarch team spent all this time and gave extreme support to this game just to say, "Hey, we've released a new FPS game that has been anticipated by millions of people for months, and now we want you to screw with our compressed files and ruin legit player's experience." Give it time...

Sony won't ban your PS3 for hacking Black Ops. Sony have no agreement with Treyarch and they only care about their exclusives. So if you hack LBP, be sure you'll be banned. Hacking PS3 will also get you banned.

But a ban from Trey MM servers meaning no more black ops from what i understand there is no system in place for trey to ban consoles like sony or MS can.
They can only ban from there own network e.g. game

I know that they probably won't actually ban consoles, but I wish they would, If you don't want to be banned from 3ARC's servers, then don't hack Black Ops people...

People won't get banned
They will get reset

Which means if they're 15th prestige, they will be 0 prestige

Thats al that matters

Boosters get temp bans of 48hours so legit people can catch them up

The whole system Treyarch has implemented is perfect
