Right this is sumthing i found out, if you just regually delete the patch it resets to the first one (1.00) ...) but if you go online using a proxy it says no servers are avalible... this is because treyarch encountered for proxys. it looks like they deleted them but.. treyarch just moved them to a differant patch (an unused one v1.4 or 1.2) so in theory to bypass and play online you and your friend need this patch. Just thought i'd let everyone know. :shh: but if treyarch find out they will just move them to a different patch then eventually give up 
so everyone get glitchin 
This is useful for the prestige glitch, the combat training glitch, the privite match xp glitch, zombies glitches and many more :carling:

The Black ops patch is generated of the disk so if we edit it it will just correct its self /facepalm but if we edit the param.sfo to boot the patch off the hdd we can edit the patch and do cl's all we have to do is find a decription code and encription code and a method on doing it without a syntax error, i am working on this now i will let everyone know when i've cracked it :carling:thumbs up if this helped

It didn't reset my combat training level for me when I deleted it, and I've done this severals times because I switch mw2 and cod4 patches a lot, so data transfer deletes everything. I don't know if you're talking about Xbox or PS3, but on PS3 nothing happens to your ct level.
