(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I came across a hidden "trap piece" in the lower level where the Defcon switches are located. Any one know about this?

I died shortly after but maybe its what you need for the metal detectors?

Yea there is one near the defcon switches, then there is another one in on the bottom floor. It is in the room on your left soon as you come out of the lift and it is on a shelf. You put it in the metal detectors in the first room and its just an electric barrier.
