The 1.02 server on the PS3 has now been shut down. In other words, the prestige hack is dead. No more of it. No bypassing, no more JB for it, no more anything as far as I'm concerned. They shut down the very server that lets you even do the prestige hack-unless someone finds a way to do the prestige hack after the 1.03 patch, then the prestige hack is dead and remaining dead till such has been aquired.
This thread is not meant for flaming, but simply to show/give understanding of the current situation we are facing.
I'de also like to add, in my opinion it is an extremely likely chance members of Treyarch have accounts on this site. I have never in my life seen hotfixes kill glitches and methods of hacking within hours of posting it, in my life. It is simply irrational to say the least.
They have accounts on here; if we ever plan on hacking black ops, posting it upfront to the public(even premiums) is what's getting it patched. We need to find a way to keep the methods a secret, or else the existence of black ops hacking is nearing dawn guys. =(
EDIT: There is still a potential of the hack to be done!

Everyone, don't bother him about his shop. He's trying to test out his new way to do the hack. If you would like to contribute to him, don't spam him about his prestige hacking service.

EDIT: I have just discovered, all sony did was redirect the 1.02 server to an earlier hotfix of that patch. It is suppose to be on 49.14.xx.xx(don't know the exact numbers), but it's on an earlier one now. ie. 49.13.xx.xx. (the "dead server")
In reality the only thing that needs to be done is redirect the ip traffic to go to the right hotfix.

I second this completely.
I'm hoping to see something from Admin's coming through, such as removing all tut's to force the owners to sell the service.
But in all honesty, most of the time the actual owners and finders are from other forums, which isn't really controllable.
(Matto is a great exception here though, looks pretty evident that he worked out a bypass.)

Mate everyone appreciates the hacking work you've done, but please like the OP is saying, sell it instead of a tut? Solves the issue thats happened with all past methods.

I agree 100%. I think matto released the tutorial because he wanted others to open shops aswell. Well, this problem we have is just another opportunity to unite as one at NGU and find one more method and make a shop out of it!

I released a tut, to show I have knowlege with what im doing, and I wanted to correct people, because so many wannabee's thought they knew how to do it, so they posted a tut which didnt work, so it got closed. I cleared that up by releasing the FULL working tut, I dont ask for much, but I ask for respect. But this time I am going to open a shop, for any hacks I discover. I cannot spend hours of hard work, testing, researching, etc.. and find out these faggot 3arc are patching them. So im keeping it all hiden.

Yeah dude problem there is there isn't much uniting considering if we want this to stay unpatched, then Matto will need to keep it as sealed as Hunter/Unknown did. This is why their method still remains unpatched, and they had their lobbies going forever.
That said, it will also attract a heap of douchebags saying similar shit like "we r teh commoonity, releese a toot!"
Please set up a personal shop Matto haha.
