1.get the death machine gun
2.wait till the pickup starts blinking
3. get downed by a zombie
4. shoot all ammo out of you pistol
5. wait till your red vision "about to die" and get revived
6. there you goo you have the death machine.

Wow stop being jealous he's getting rep. It works because they actually followed directions. What you did was just die, shoot ammo, revive, DONT WORK. You're supposed to wait till the death machine icon starts blinking, get downed, shoot ammo, and when your screen turns Reddish Black(ABOUT TO DIE) THEN YOU GET REVIVED. However, there was a new patch today 12:00 AM Pacific Time that patched the table and gun glitch. There's a 50-50 chance they also fully patched this glitch.

By the way I am not sure but I don't think you can kill the doctor if he has taken one of your weapons. If you have lost a weapon to the doctor then don't kill him. I might be wrong and it might be that you can never kill the doctor ever. Either way don't let him steal that gun either.

Wow you're really slow. They hotfixed it in PS3. They didn't patch it on Sexbox Live. In simple words: IT WORKS ON 360 ALL THE TIME BUT NOT ALWAYS IN PS3.
