Right a few things:

1: I don't have a ps3 and have never done any modding on one at all, so sorry can't help there
2: No i'm not trying to 'recreate' Hunters' XP hack, i have no idea how he did that
3: It isn't a save game mod *facepalm*
4: old news? I haven't seen a single page stating how this was done, and i said i was sorry if it has been done already in the first place
5: And yes..one step at a time haha, i'm working on launching developer servers to enable ufo and stuff just using the XeX right now

Yet another thing:

i'm not going to go and write an in-depth tutorial..or even a simple one..on this. I have stated it is an xex mod though, so if you know your way around a default_mp.xex odds are you can work out how to do it from that..good luck (shh...treyarch are watching)

im going to say xbox harder because half these people dnt know what a jtag is. ik ps3 is hard but if it wasnt for jtags shit like this wouldnt happen. if u saying xbox is easier go jtag your xbox and host lobbies then.

I mean cmon man, I think everyone has seen that the x-box can be hacked easilly just like that, only reason why I prefer the PS3 over it, but if you could do this on the PS3 then I think everyone in the PS3 community on NGU will praise you.

i meant that for ps3 hacking.. people think there hackers just bc they can copy and paste a savedata file like back on cod4 hacks were out so do me a favor and hop of.

The only way someone could just copy and paste a savedata is for ONE person to edit the savedata and post it for everyone to have. You're right, PS3 hacking is much more difficult, but most of us don't know how to do it, we just wait for one person to do it and release it, then we use it and pretend we're so awesome because we know how to copy and paste a file.
