I will keep this brief, for easy reading.

[multipage=Introduction]

First off, Five is a new zombie map in Call of Duty: Black Ops based on the Pentagon. Not only does it consists of presidents, it also has new special guns, traps, and events! This guide will show you a simple but useful strategy for "Five". This has gotten me far in private match with my friends.

[multipage=Getting Started]

Before you start the game, be sure to have a group of players who not only know the map, but are somewhat good at the CoD series. Make SURE to have 4 players. As with 3 you will soon die. If you stick to this strategy you could easily reach 20+ round.

[multipage=Rounds 1 - 6]

When you spawn, have each person be assigned to a window. Split the zombies coming out of the walls between each of the players. To reach the highest amount of points per zombie. Follow this:

  1. Round 1: 4 bullets + knife

  2. Round 2: 8 bullets + knife

  3. Round 3: 16 bullets + knife

  4. Round 4-5: Grenades, bullets, and knife. Kill shit.

Do not buy a M14 or Olympia, once you are in the beginning of the fifth round, create a crawler(also known as a half-body) by holding a grenade for 3-4 seconds and throwing them to the left/right of a zombie. Save that crawler so you can do things without getting harmed.

[multipage=Rounds 6 - 10]

At the end of the 5th round you should have a crawler. Use this time to buy the doors, signs blocking the elevator, signs in the middle of the two stairways, and then the large elevator doors. I personally recommend not buying a MPL/MP5K/etc because those are only effective for few rounds. Proceed upstairs and LEAVE THE POWER OFF. I can not stress this enough. Nova 6's are little bitches in this situation. Continue to the box, use it as many times as you like as long as each player always has 500 points. Guns I highly do not recommend are:

  • MPL
  • MP5K
  • Olympia
  • Stakeout
  • Spas-12
  • Any pistol
  • Any small gun
  • Any pump-shot/semi-auto Weapon (excluding the FAL)

This is when you begin the strategy. Once everybody is stocked up. Proceed back to the elevator. Bring back down to the bottom and REMAIN INSIDE. Have one person who has the worst weapon cover the window. The other 3 covering the front. When you start to see hordes of zombies, shoot as many as you can. When you need to reload, survive, or revive. Call the elevator up. Then instantly back down. Continue this for remaining rounds.

***BE SURE TO HAVE ONE PLAYER NEAR THE ELEVATOR BUTTON THE ENTIRE TIME

Be sure to read the power tab. Otherwise you might make a mistake and die!

[multipage=The Power]

Pros and Cons of the Power,

Pros:

  • Pack-A-Punch
  • Scientist for Fire Sale and Max Ammo
  • Teleporters
  • Perks

Cons:

  • Nova 6's (Deadly because all players are in a closed space while they blow up)
  • Scientist
  • Teleporters(Zombies can now teleport from L2 to L1 in a matter of seconds. Unlike without power)
  • No Pack-A-Punch
  • No Perks
  • No Traps(If needed)

Your choice to enable it. Think wisely before you do.
[multipage=F.A.Qs and Tips]

- How do I turn on power?

In the second floor of the labratory. The second room on the left has the power switch inside.

- Who is the scientist?

He replaces dogs, the scientist can steal your ammo and guns. He is incredibly fast and incredibly stronger then zombies. Only the person he is targeting can see him.

- Why shouldn't I have small weapons?

Not only are they weak, they run our of ammo very quickly which doesn't work with this strategy.

Tips[/u]

The upstairs trap is only useable with the power on and the missing piece restored. The piece is down in the middle of the map(near the world map on the ground). Use [ ] on PS3 to pick it up. Proceed to place it in the trap.

Power enabled? Get Perks!!!! Quick Revive is essential. You have little time while the elevator is rising. Juggernaut. Survive more while being hurt by zombies!

Also, if the power is enabled. Get Pack-A-Punch ASAP. This increaes weapon's ammo, damage, appearence, abilities, and even sights and underbarrells!

I hope this guide helps you! I will be updating with videos/pics sometime soon. :bro:

    Too bad on Round 1, 6 bullets will kill a zombie.
    And somewhere(deleted it during quoting by accident), you said to save a crawler through a few rounds. How? The round won't move on until every zombie is dead. Check your stats before you make a guide.

It was a typo, I fixed it. I was thinking of a different sentence while typing that one.
