Just post if you would fix sniping in this game and how.
As for me, heres my idea:
Make a sniping playlist (like core, hardcore, prestige, barebones) with every game mode (or maybe just a few, definatley SnD though). In this sniping playlist, you must use a sniper rifle (can be any). However, a few things are different from any other game mode:
~No hitmarkers, every shot is a OSK (or atleast with the L96)
~No sway when you zoom in (so you can actually quickscope)
~Secondaries include all pistols and specials. No launchers (except for Strela i suppose)
After all, thats why people were complaining right? Because people on their team were going negative trying to QS and making the team lose?

I would make the steady aim perk reduce sway by like 50%, and you can edit that to 100% in private matches. I think quickscoping in public matches isn't fair or realistic, and if you're playing in private matches, you probably want the gameplay to feel realistic. But I QSed all the time in MW2 private matches, wish I could do it in black ops

You can still quickscope in private matches. Just go to playercard>community>custom games
There should be a bunch of custom games titled "QS mod" or something along those lines. Just download it to your file share, load game and have fun
Also, I do agree that quickscoping in pubs isn't fair, but thats why I want a sniper-only playlist.
Another also, just to touch on realism. I think a game like COD has already proven that it cannot be "perfectly realistic". If there was a perfectly realistic game, it simply wouldnt be fun. Honestly, I dont care about realism too much. They could add Flying monkeys with party hats to the game, as long as its fun (and balanced, but I wont get into that, this post is already long enough XD)

But with the crosshairs really close together, it just doesn't feel right
