Just post if you would fix sniping in this game and how.

As for me, heres my idea:

Make a sniping playlist (like core, hardcore, prestige, barebones) with every game mode (or maybe just a few, definatley SnD though). In this sniping playlist, you must use a sniper rifle (can be any). However, a few things are different from any other game mode:
~No hitmarkers, every shot is a OSK (or atleast with the L96)
~No sway when you zoom in (so you can actually quickscope)
~Secondaries include all pistols and specials. No launchers (except for Strela i suppose)

After all, thats why people were complaining right? Because people on their team were going negative trying to QS and making the team lose?

Pointless thread. David van Vonen (w/e) already mentioned an update where they'll 'play around' with the sniper-rifles till they reach the point where it's balanced.

remove the sway.

Remove the sniper patch. Tada fixed.

remove the awful sway when you zoom in ..
used sniper once and all i got was hitmarkers ..

A few things I had thought about would be the following

1)Make a Sniping Lobby and add it as a Play-list.
2)Take away all the perks and give them 1 perk that *Lets you scope in STRAIGHT NOT HOW IT IS NOW. of-course only to be used with sniper weapons.
3)Say in TDM or w/e game mode *ONE PERSON* from each team designated by the teams and NOT AT RANDOM gets SNIPING PRIVILEGES and sniping gets returned to normal during the game.

**I am not a sniper, but I am sympathetic to you guys cause I think you got hosed but you guys need to come to the understanding that YOUR NOT GOING TO GET MW2 STYLE QS AGAIN! Maybe COD4 where it actually took skill but get any notion of MW2 out of your minds with B.O.**

I agree that quickscoping was a little too easy in MW2. I haven't played COD4 so i wouldn't know how much skill it took in cod4, but I assume a mix/ in-between of cod4 and BO would work.

They already said they can't make it like it was in CoD4. VanderVaar stated that. I would love to see them make it like CoD4, but they can't for some reason. The only way to fix sniping is to remove the sway. There's no reason for it. Doing an actual quickscope has the same accuracy as just no scoping in BO. And I agree with a guy above me, MW2 sniping was WAY TOO EASY. It turned people into "OMFGWTFBBQ SC0P3ZzZzZ" snipers and it was incredibly annoying. Did you ever hear anyone bitch in CoD4 about the sniping? No. In MW2, all people did was complain that quickscoping was "cheap" and "unrealistic". Well, it's a videogame and it's not gonna be realistic. You still can quickscope in BO however, you have have to scope all the way in, and drag. It's tough but can be done.

I can hardscope fine, and why would I want to quickscope?
