Basically, the sign highlights the windows on the helicopter. It seems very strange and I can't seem to figure out whether it was intentional (and has something to do with the summit gun) or just a random glitch. I just happened to stumble upon it when I noticed that these signs were see-through. I thought that they looked a bit out of place, as the rest of the signs like this are solid metal and can not be seen through. So, you guys can discuss your theories on this and what not .

The probably just put a decal image on a very thin invisible rectangle. And the helicopter may be made of decals as well, allowing them to glitch up with each other. Simple mistake in games

Maybe, I was also thinking that you find all of these signs in the level and shoot them in a certain amount of time (like the mannequins on Nuketown) and maybe it unlocks the helicopter so that you can get in it, or something else strange like that.

Nah probably not it. If it was something like that, it would probably show a sign that it does do soemthing, like change the color
