In your first 50 levels(0 Prestige), you can buy all weapons, attachments and perks to find out whats the best combo for you. Then you dont have to spend money on guns, attachments and perks, you dont need in the others prestiges.

After you spend 50.000 CoD Points for the Prestige Leaderboard, you will lose it again when you prestige. So buy it your last prestige.

Here is a list of what you keep when you prestige in Black Ops.

- Titles
- Emblems(Layers)
- Your custom emblem
- Reticle
- Reticle color
- Lifetime Challenges

Here is a list of what you lose when you prestige in Black Ops.

- Weapons you have unlock.
- Attachments you have bought.
- Camo you have bought.
- Cod Points(CP) you havent spend.
- All challenges(except Lifetime challenge).
- Prestige Leaderboard if you have bought it.
