I find that the RAID (STAKEOUT upgraded) is a one shot beast, silmilar to the GUT SHOT in der riese, and the trench gun in shi ho numa, I got to level 119 in shi no numa just using the waffle and the trech gun just for the dogs lol, one shot kill, what more do you want? lol

so if you know of a gun for the dogs other than the stakeout - let me know!

KINO DER TOTEN - I went a whole game, level 27 without getting floored once, and when I did - it was game over. (ran out of ammo)

I'm pretty sure that the M72 LAW upgraded to the M72 Anarchy is the best weapon, semi auto fire, 10 rockets per load, does the most damage.

Non-Upgraded MP40 with double tap...because it is more effective than most people realize and the ammo is readily available.

Im not saying I dont believe you but wont it takes ages to kill even 1 dog with it? and your bound to run out of ammo with it, even if you buy it off the wall at the start of the dogs, so then you gotto probably stay near the mp40 area - switch the turrent gun on, run around the table whilst there being gunned down and if need be buy ammo, run to the stage and put the turrent gun on there and then jump in telepoter, lol good plan?

...and I thought the exact same thing until I watched a guy rocking the MP40 and taking the dogs out quite efficiently. It was not upgraded. He just used the layout of the building even furniture in his room to manuever the dogs to his advantage.

Having said that...most people would probably not fare very well with the MP40 in the higher dog rounds.

Well my strategy for the whole game is the thunder gun upgraded and the mp40 NOT upgraped, and I got to level 27 without getting floored once and this was a 3 player game, my highest level with this is 37 and it was with these 2 guns,

The MP40 is obviously a very effective weapon, especially if you can maximize it's use to ensure that you'll have enough points to purchase more ammo on your next trip past its wall and still have enough left over to activate traps as they are needed.

Speaking of the Thunder Gun...can more than one player have it in a game?

In Der Riese, only one could have the super weapon (the Wunderwaffle). I'm curious if they've done this with the Thunder Gun as well--the Big Bang weapon in Kino.

From my experience the MP40 starts to become useless once you reach the mid-late 20's. The dogs are just spawning and running too fast for it to be effective on it's own.

Once you get into the higher rounds I would recommend Ray Gun, Thunder Gun (obvious is obvious) and either of the two LMG's.





Nope. Only one player can hold the Thunder Gun at any given time.

I heard there was a survival loop in Shi No Numa...one where you just ran around in cirlces in one section of the swamp. I'm going to have to try that. I never like Shi No Numa because the team would obsess over hanging out at the newest location of the box. No one gets far doing that.

I have Shi no Numa on Ps3 Want to play? I dont kno about the loop though.
