When we did this, we teleported but ended up down and the game was over.

This is just like jumping on someone, it makes both of you down. Most likely to stop glitches on zombies.

Haha, earlier me and my friend just went to the teleporter, not even trying to do it at the same time, and suddenly we were both down it was annoying but pretty funny

This happened to me and my friends when we were on around wave 25, sadly it resulted in us losing.

This happened to me and my brother when we were playing with 2 other people. Of course, when we went down, the game was over because every randomer on that game is SH*T!

You both spawn on top of each other, therefore, killing you. That sucks.
