In this guide is a list of every original wager match glitch and trick I could find. I tried to also take glitches that weren't originally intended for wager match but can be used in wager matches and place them here as well an example of this would be xbox's built-in lagswitch.

I will keep this updated as more are found and/or they are patched. I I dont realize something has been patched and don't update it accordingly please inform me.

I take no credit for posts not by me I just wanted to put them all in one place and havegiven credit where credit is due by linking everyguide to the original post.

Steps
1.First get to level 50 and also you need 10k CP (Cod Points)
2.Once your level 50 and have your Cod Points go to wager match.
3.Next find a High Roller game that uses 10k CP.
4.Once your in the lobby go to your player card and prestige.
5. Note the bets need to be locked in before you prestige otherwise it will kick you and wont work

You either have two options really:

1. you could hope you get at least 3rd place cause you will start the prestige off with 10k.

or

2. you could also get a few friends to join your lobby and disconnect from the internet mid game. This will not only give you a instant 30k plus your friends will be refunded.

This glitch allows you to search weekend roller and high roller with parties.


1. Invite friends to game (max:6)
2.click highroller/weekend roller. (doesnt matter)
3.highlight gametype
4.click switch lobby to private match
5.switch back to wager
6.repeat step 4 and 5 until it lags the party and your friends dont appear in the wager match lobby
7.quickly select find match and select the gametype you first highlighted.
8.while searching for the game your friends should join within the first couple seconds

Requirements: 10k exactly ( if you want to do highroller)

STEP 1
Join a wager match ( high roller)

STEP 2
go to edit player card

STEP 3
click what you want to buy once ( DONT CLICK BUY AND EQUIP!!!

STEP 4
WAIT till bets are locked

STEP 5
buy what you want

STEP 6
Now play as best as you can and don't be very confident because you spent your bet

TIPS: its best to buy one of those 5k backgrounds cause they cost half your bet money

Step 1: Get a party of three player on Wager Match mode using the above glitch

Step 2: Go in any Wager Match game w/ your party

Step 3: Once your in a game w/ your party tell them to leave, therefore there will only be 3 players in the game left and you will be in 3rd place, 2nd place, or 1st place and you wont loose any COD Points yo will earn COD Points!

As a side note I suggest that your party disconnects from the internet via a shutdown or unplugging the internet from there console.

Text Tutorial:
1. Alright to start off, make sure you have atleast 5k CoD Points.

2. Go to Multiplayer > Wager Match.

3. Start playing under the category "Ante Up." Be sure to play each one atleast 5 times.

4. Pick which one you are best at.

5. Go to the "Weekend Gambler" category and play the game you picked in the step above.

6. Play this game atleast 10 times to insure that you are very well at that game. If you are not placing in the top 3 every time, play under "Ante Up" until you are, then try again.

7. If you place in the top three atleast 7 out of 10 times, you are ready.

8. Start playing under the category "High Roller."

NOTE: You can not pick the game type you are best at, but you will never join a game that's already in progress. With that, you can back out if you do not see the gametype you like or a map you like. It is very important to also make sure you are playing on a map that you like. Keep backing until you get the game you like. This may take a few minutes, but 10k CoD Points is at stake, so it's worth it.

9. Once you finally get into a game, put some effort forward to guarantee a lot of CoD Points.

**** WHEN YOU GET BACK ONTO BLACK OPS EACH TIME, PLAY ATLEAST 5 GAMES UNDER "WEEKEND GAMBLER" OF YOUR GAMETYPE. THIS WILL MAKE SURE YOU ARE USED TO PLAYING THAT WAGER MATCH AGAIN.

Wager Match Gametype Strategies, Tips, and Hints:

One in The Chamber:
Use a pistol with 1 bullet to take out other enemies. Each kill gets you a bullet. If you knife someone, but already have a bullet, you advance to 2 bullets. If you miss, you are down to your knife. You only have 3 lives.

1. Only take the sure shot. You have ONE bullet. Conserve your bullet and if possible let the other guy shoot first. If you can trick him into shooting first and missing you will have a distinct advantage when he comes in to knife you.

2. Be causcious. Don't run towards your opponent in a straight line, and when battling be sure to move side-to-side, backwards, etc. Mix up your moves.

3. If you have used your single bullet and did not score a kill, back off and let your victim come to you. If he still has his bullet, run away and find try to find a good spot to hide and knife him when he comes. If possible, seek out another victim who is engaged with an opponent and knife him from behind.

4. When fighting knife-to-knife, try to fight while moving backwards and side-to-side. If you feint left or right, melee with your knife while your opponent is reacting. Try a double move...feint left and when your opponent reacts, move right and melee from the side.

5. Don't camp, but don't rush. Take it easy.

6. Staying crouched helps a lot as it makes no sound when you walk.

7. Aim for the chest, you don't need headshots.

8. If you have a bullet, but want to knife someone, only knife them if you know for sure you will get the kill.


Stick and Stones:
Use a Crossbow, Ballistic Knife, and a Tomahawk. Get killed by a tomahawk resets you to 0 points.

1. Know which weapon to use, and where. Dont use a crossbow at close range and try to throw your tomahawk across the map. Crossbow at long range, ballistic knife at medium and short range. Only tomahawk when you know you will kill the guy.

2. Use the crossbow on cars to make bigger explosions. You are more likely to kill someone when the explosion is bigger and may get a double kill.

3. Try and not be first for the majority of the game. People will see you as the gold dot on the map and try to throw their tomahawk at you.

4. If you see the gold dot try to throw your tomahawk at him. This will bring him down to 0, increasing your chance of being in the money.

5. Always watch your back for tomahawks as they are such a pain especially when there is very little time left.


Gun Game:
Start out with a Python, get a kill and advance to the next weapon until you have gone through all 20 weapons, getting 1 kill with each. Getting knifed sets you back to the previous gun.

1. Try and get through the first few guns fast. The pistols up until the sniper rifle are the easiest guns. Get through this fast so you will have time to get the snipers done.

2. Dont blow up cars with launchers, those kills dont count. When using the rocket launchers aim directly at the person to ensure a kill.

3. Knife enemies who just got off bad guns, like sniper rifles or shotguns. This will force them to go back and use that weapon, which takes up time to get a kill with.

4. Watch your back. Dont get knifed, it can be very annoying.

Sharpshooter:
Description:
Weapons cycle every 45 seconds. Everyone has the same gun. Killstreaks give you perks and multipliers. The last round is double the points and decides the game almost everytime.

1. Try and avoid running into the center. This may get you a kill or two, but you will never get the extra perks or multipliers which play a big role in the game.

2. Know how far your weapon will shoot, dont try and fire dual weapons and other weapons very far, this leaves you reloading and a very easy target.

3. Get good with multiple weapons. This game switches between a few weapons so the more weapons you are familiar with the better you will do.

4. Be careful not to get caught without ammo in your mags. Reload when you know it's safe.


5. Try and do really well with the last weapon. The points are double and this last round decides the winner about 90% of the time.

This is based on thesuper0ne's glitch of getting 12k-30k cp after prestiging:

Requirements: One friend + 10k exactly ( if you want to do highroller)

STEP 1
your friend starts a party.

STEP 2
You JOIN it.

STEP 3
You click create a class, or player-card or whatever, and choose what you want ( dont click buy and accept, just hover over it)

STEP 4
Your friend switches to wager match then clicks high-roller.

STEP 5
Tell your friend to tell you when the bets are locked.

STEP 6
buy what you want.

STEP 7
close the create a class and wait.

STEP 8
Now play as best as you can and dont be very confident because you wont lose anything

I remembered doing this back in the WaW days to get my own lobby to do the bootcamp glitch, but it also has it's advantages in Black Ops.

You have to be host in order for this to work properly (easier if you have a party)

What this does is, it gives you 4 Green bars while everyone else has Yellow or Red Connections, giving you a HUGE advantage over other players having 2x better connection speed.

And it very simple to setup, and some of you may already know this, so dont flame ..LOL

From here, pick a far away counrty, like chile or somethin, somewhere where 90% of the players are connected to a 28k modem ..LOL


Next, Start Black Ops, then Change your Search Settings to Local Only

Make sure you don't join a game, but start a new lobby to make sure you are host.

(Again, easier if you have a party.)

Now watch your green bar shine while their red bar dwindles, making it easier to PWN

Now my additions would be to to this in ties with party into wager match and you will almost always win wager matches!

The one to get a party in a Wager Match works. But what method should I use so everyone gets the same COD Points?

Updated with more organization and added xbox's built-in lagswitch use in wager matches.

so for example if i played a high roller match and i spent like 1000 instead of all my 10,000 do i still lose 10,000 or do i still keep my 9000 i didnt spend?

Got 25,000 CoD Points at Level 1 by doing the prestige in High Roller trick
I hoping to get at least 3rd, but ended up getting first. Now I was able to buy a ClayMore and all my perks right at Lv.4.
