tbh i haven't really used the reflex yet, so i'm gonna give it a try. and i don't like the red dot in black ops, i tend to use other attachments like grip, extended mags, suppressor etc.

red dot has bigger sight than reflex but reflex has less recoil....basically it.

I like the Reflex in some guns and some guns with Reddot.

It's a myth. There is nothing in the game's coding that implies that reflex sight has less recoil. Any perceived reduction in the recoil is all in your head.

The youtube videos are thought to be staged. Again, nothing in the coding shows that reflex sight has less recoil...

There is no coding saying that blue lens + blue reticule has less recoil, but it does. Just try shooting the house on Nuketown from the same spot with the RFS and the RDS. There is a reduction.

Same exact situation happening here. Nothing in the coding states this is true. The visual recoil might be less, but it in fact doesn't change anything on the "receiving end."

David Vonderhaar's twitter post basically addressing this fact:
