Then just give the game some time to fix itself. Report your issue in the Treyarch forums where someone will probably know what the cause is or at least they will know some people are having such problems.

Try to put your ps3 in dmz mode....

After the update, allot of PS3 owners are having problems as for some reason black ops changed the NAT type to strict. But before the update, my NAT type was open. And I could have a few decent matches online but now its impossible for me and the majority to have even 1 game online without getting the "lobby closed" notification.

Its trey arch that NEED to fix this, not us. Any other online multiplayer game works, e.g. MW2, GT5.

Someone send JD2020 a tweet on twitter regarding this major problem, coz it needs to be fixed ASAP.

Here's the solution (created and tested my me, LilNatsFan44):

1.) Go to your router.

2.) Look for a port that has the "8>" symbol above it.

3.) Now very precisely and with great accuracy, slowly nudge your schlong into the hole until you reach the end

4.) Done. Your NAT type should now be very open and loose for a while.

Its some times the router that decides the NAT so what I recommend is to buy a Cisco Router, they are the best & if its still strict, call your internet provider they are probably the best people to go to so you or them can fix it; I'm on moderate but I'm still mad because I can't play with one of my personal friends because he has strict
