yea it happens to me mine frooze 3 time in 30mins then i left it

Go to "Game Data Utility" and delete all the black ops files. Now try the game again. You should be asked to update again.

Black Ops was freezing for me when i first got it, and this almost completely stopped it.

Its weird. My fat PS3 froze a lot when my friend would use it with his game. We swapped discs and the fat hasn't frozen since and yet his disc has not froze my slim yet either. I wonder if the ones who have freezing issues could try this aswell and say if it worked for them?

since the new patch I will be lucky if I get to finish a full game it either loses connection or freezes. Btw anyway to turn off capcha when replying.

1. You read your messages or make one when you're LOADING A MATCH.
2. You have a fat PS3 over 1 years old
3. You load the XMB screen while Black Ops is loading something
4. Someone sends you many invites.
5. You bring out the Create-A-Class or some other menu pop-up right before you load a game or when the hosts leaves from the lobby.

These are all reasons why your PS3 lags. Sure you load up other games but have you thought about your internet? Maybe that's why you can't load crap.

On NBA 2K9 on PS3 at launch I remember it freezing consoles...I let it freeze my console twice in one hour before I decided, how about I take this shit out my system.

There should be 0 excuse for it freezing your system but seriously why risk your PS3 when you know it's ****ing it up???

I think your honestly exaggerating . With any game or any console you will have times where the game freezes now and then.
