Well most of you get an error message saying, "The Black Ops servers are not available at this time"
That means you have been banned, and DeagleUk and -1337- have found a way to get round it.

This is how you do it...

Step 1. Get to a command prompt (Start, run, cmd)
Step 2. Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).
Step 3. Type "ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).

That is it, next you should turn your xbox off and then on again. Go on Black Ops and you should be ale to play online. Stats/Rank do stay as long as you do it a couple minutes after the server unavailable message.

This was tested by DeagleUk. All credit goes to -1337- and DeagleUk.

Enjoy playing Black Ops again guys.

Note: This only works for some people. Because some bans are different.

This only Works if your IP ban like for 24 hours or 48. Don't try it if your Perma ban because obviously its not gonna happen.

Fionn
Banned
Well I got a 48 Hour and It worked on another account.
Then I got a perma and it worked on another account on the same IP both times.
They ban your Profile ID, GPD and Gamertag. Not your IP.
