Don't you miss when everyone who had the game had a fair chance to make it to the max level and have fun with the game. These were simpler times, before challenge lobbies were needed to rank up.

In CoD4 it took about 125000 XP to get through one prestige. I'm gonna simplify that to 1.2 million XP just to make it easier to understand.

CoD4 - 1.2 million
-12 million to tenth prestige
WaW - 1.5 million
-15 million to tenth prestige
MW2 - 2.5 million
- 25 million to tenth prestige
BO -2 million
-30 MILLION to 15th prestige!

I found it outrageous back in World at War how long it took to prestige and Black Ops has DOUBLED that!

My suggestion is that Treyarch makes it take SIGNIFICANTLY shorter to prestige. Of all the problems in Black Ops, this one annoys me the most. If they make it only take about 1 million XP to prestige it will make the game a lot more fun to rank up and it will STOP THE GLITCHERS AND HACKERS because they will be fine with how long it takes to prestige in the game.

Let me make one final comparison before this is done. In CoD4, there was a 10th prestige account 7 days after the game was released, I've heard it was just one person who did it. He probably had around 5 days playing time. Machinima played for 28 DAYS nonstop and had 17 DAYS playing time to make it to 15th prestige.

And Treyarch wonders how why so many people boost.

At least you an attempt to report people you suspect are boosting?

But wtv. Boosters gunna do what they do best.

No if he is on level 1 5th prestige that puts him at 21hours.
He has reached level 50 four times so far, 84 divided by 4= 21.
And I'm guessing he is at least past level 25 as anyone who can prestige that fast can easily reach level 25 in two or three hours.

So if he is on level past level 25 he is doing it slightly over 18hours.
If not past level 25 he is somewhere between 21-18hours.

Ahh, i'm a scummy booster now? So pretty your saying I boost because i can not rank up legit...BS.. I bet there are many many boosters whoa re 12 times as good as you will every be. I boost. I was number 1 in the world. Bro i would rather boost and get ranked up fast and get all of my stuff unlocked so I can just play legit an dhave fun and not have to be a try hard like some people.../facepalm

the main reason prestiging is so boring on black ops is the last 10-12 levels as the xp amount is huge, for me now with all the online issues getting out of prestige 3 has been soooo hard, ive gone from lvl 1 to 39 without completing a game so far lol so i can only imagine how long its taken me to do an its totally mesed up my online time now, as i was prestiging pretty much every day i had of online time, but i think its taken 2 days online time just to hit lvl 39 an ive still got the worse set of lvls to hit lol

ppl are gonna boost but in black ops I don't see a single reason to boost for, like what are trying to unlock, it takes money to buy stuff. The only thing that I would boost for is contracts such as the headshots but yet again I DONT BOOST! but I dont care really
