Don't you miss when everyone who had the game had a fair chance to make it to the max level and have fun with the game. These were simpler times, before challenge lobbies were needed to rank up.

In CoD4 it took about 125000 XP to get through one prestige. I'm gonna simplify that to 1.2 million XP just to make it easier to understand.

CoD4 - 1.2 million
-12 million to tenth prestige
WaW - 1.5 million
-15 million to tenth prestige
MW2 - 2.5 million
- 25 million to tenth prestige
BO -2 million
-30 MILLION to 15th prestige!

I found it outrageous back in World at War how long it took to prestige and Black Ops has DOUBLED that!

My suggestion is that Treyarch makes it take SIGNIFICANTLY shorter to prestige. Of all the problems in Black Ops, this one annoys me the most. If they make it only take about 1 million XP to prestige it will make the game a lot more fun to rank up and it will STOP THE GLITCHERS AND HACKERS because they will be fine with how long it takes to prestige in the game.

Let me make one final comparison before this is done. In CoD4, there was a 10th prestige account 7 days after the game was released, I've heard it was just one person who did it. He probably had around 5 days playing time. Machinima played for 28 DAYS nonstop and had 17 DAYS playing time to make it to 15th prestige.

And Treyarch wonders how why so many people boost.

For example, you can make it look like your not boosting by having the person who dies purposely plant his Tactical Insertion and run to the same far away spot every life while the killer just camps in a spot and kills him. -See, they'll just keep thinking of ways and they won't stop.

At least the boosters will stop SOONER. It will take half as long to get maxed out and will make the Call of Duty population, as a whole, less frustrated. I also think Treyarch should stop resetting people, but that's a whole different topic.

thats is a really good point matt if they dont reset em then there is no reason for them to continue boosting after reaching max level.

One more thing. How many people would honestly be upset if they made it easier to prestige?

In Cod4 you received 1/10th the points you do in BO. I actually rank up faster in BO than I did in CoD4. The only difference is that BO has 15 prestiges.

I love listening to everyone complain about how long it takes to prestiege. I made it to the tenth on both cod 4 and MW2 and will make it to 15th on this one without boosting. Maybe if boosters spent time on getting better rather than cheating they would win a match and earn more xp.....

y u be hatin on boosting? Most people that play BO on NgU boost... can't stop them.
