I got my ps3 taken away, so I'm going to need your guys help with this. This was originally posted in the premium section (You must login or register to view this content.), but some noob leeched it, so I might as well post it here! Please note this is a test, and is a work in progress. I'm posting it here so we can work together to find a better way. Thanks to Mccedro for helping me with this (Even though you told a lot of other people..) Feel free to report your findings here, and if this works or what you did to get it work.

1. Go split screen/lan. Change the gametype and match to what you want.

2. Back out to the multiplayer menu and highlight local. Click triangle to join a friends party (it must be open, and you must be able to connect to them), but when its joining you quickly click circle, click x on local to get to lan, and click create match and then click start match QUICKLY. you must be fast doing this. After you get a hang of it, it'll be easier. lol

3. You should see your online classes if you do it right (takes a while to get this working) but when you click on them, its the custom lan ones. You WILL get kicked/ get an error a lot with this. Just keep trying.

See what you can do, and try different methods, using this an example. :dunce:

I don't think you can join into my lan game

EDIT: i'm about to give up, i'm getting stuck. here's what i have so far:

join a demolition lobby. back out.

go to split screen and set up FFA on nuketown, connect other controller.

back out, go to Local and highlight LAN

hit triangle and find somebody with an open party

now here is the hard part -> in a fast motion, hit square, circle, x, down, x.

also, very fast hit x on your second controller rapidly, then quickly hit x again on your first controller to start the match

note: i dont think that you have to start the match right away. one of my tries i accidentally forgot to hit x again and it was chillin' in the LAN party match and i was like oh shit and started the match.

if this worked, you will get your online classes.

what i did was wait for the 10 minutes to run out and it brought me back into a demo lobby. but this only happened once.... ? every time the time runs out it brings me to the player match that my friend is in.

now my problem is i can't get the second controller connected. i did once but now it won't work.

i'm about to just give up.

unless we can get some more ideas, i don't think this will work.
