Put your PS3 into DMZ, I normally get closed/moderate but after putting my ps3 into DMZ I always get Open on black ops & mw2.

Which is better? Port forwarding or DMZ? you can only do one

DMZ...DMZ *should* open all ports

How do I DMZ? if you can give me an answer I can use I'll give you 31 rep.

Blackops is just gay thats my opinion

You log into your router and set an ip address for the dmz, you then go to your ps3 and set everything to manual and fill it all in then set the IP as the same for the dmz and your done. If it worked correctly.

It happens to me aswell, easy fix to this
Follow these steps, got them from the official sony forums.

1) Put a copy of modern warfare 2 into your ps3.
2) Load up the multiplayer on the mw2
3) Check if it says "Nat Type: Open"
4) if it does eject it from the ps3 (You should still be on the mw2 multiplayer screen)
5) The ps3 should put you onto the xmb
6) From there just pop in the black ops disk
7) Your Nat type should be open now
9) Have Fun
