(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so i havn't been hacking for about 1 month so ive missed out on alot on ps3 (ive been playing legit) but i know that black ops cant be run unless you are on 3.50 firmware right? so can some one try this....
.Get a 3.50 firmware ps3 then install black ops patch then get the ps3 downgrader dongle and downgrade to 3.41. So then you can rumage through the black ops files and tell us what's there. And another thing try back up black ops using back up manager and look through the backed up file on file zilla because i have a feeling the RSA public and private key/keys what we need to edit the .ff might be in there. Any way need people to try we are never going to do unless we try.

The decryption key isn't going to just be there like the code "themarlin", it is going to be in function form where it encrypts bytes and anyone who doesnt understand that stuff isnt going to be able to mod. After this there is decompression of course but that's a different matter. This function is in the eboot.bin/one if the self's since the ff's are encrypted. But once u have decrypted them you can run them on 3.41 jb. but if you want to run it online you will have to compress them and encrypt them. But the encryption key is going to be different than the decryption key reversed, I think.

Since the modchip is upgradable you can upgrade it to the higher payload. Once you do that you can go to brewology.com and donwload the black ops patch for your system and put it on your flash drive. then you just plug in and you can instal it once you do the jailbreak. As long as you have the new update on the modchip you can install a patch, or a map pack right to your system.
no you need a debuged param.sfo file because the param tells the ps3 that you can only run it on 3.50 or higher so ive got a debuged 1 and im going to start looking around Smile

The way to run it on 3.41 is using a debuged param.sfo. Im not saying the RSA is just going to be there i no it isnt im saying that its going to help alot if we have a look because there is key information is on the disk

No you can use a retail param and just edit it to say 3.40. You need a debug eboot.

LOL. Wrong section buddy. And you also don't need a jailbroken ps3 to do the prestige hack.
