.Get a 3.50 firmware ps3 then install black ops patch then get the ps3 downgrader dongle and downgrade to 3.41. So then you can rumage through the black ops files and tell us what's there. And another thing try back up black ops using back up manager and look through the backed up file on file zilla because i have a feeling the RSA public and private key/keys what we need to edit the .ff might be in there. Any way need people to try we are never going to do unless we try.

Don't think this will work seeing as when you downgrade it wipes the hdd.

NO, sadly, this won't work, you can't downgrade if you're on FW 3.55<--This is the newest one!

you can use Black ops on 3.41 FW cuz 1 of my friend dont have internet and he plays black ops and hes ps3 FW is on 3.41

He said on 3.50 but it still won't work because the hdd gets wiped, but you could install and hex edit where it requires 3.50 to 3.41 or below, but once in you would still need a RSA key to mod the useful stuff, i dont know the whole process perfect but there are tuts and stuff on the site.

just because he doesn't have internet does not mean he isn't on 3.50, BO came with the 3.50 update on the game disc.

i still think the rsa key is hidden in the disc we need to back up the game and i know how just read a premium section on it so im on the case

when i did it all it did was remove it then when i got o 3.41 it said we found ........ you want to install and it gave me all my stuff

I can downgrade since i bought the ps3break jailbreak chip v 1.2 but there is no point. All you need is a 3.41 system and a ps3break modchip. Since the modchip is upgradable you can upgrade it to the higher payload. Once you do that you can go to brewology.com and donwload the black ops patch for your system and put it on your flash drive. then you just plug in and you can instal it once you do the jailbreak. As long as you have the new update on the modchip you can install a patch, or a map pack right to your system.

what you need ? All .ff on Patch 1.04 ? I can give him to you, i have a PS3 FW 3.41 jailbreaked and Black ops and 1.04 lol

It's to complicated for most people anyway & it's no longer just using a usb people need to realise that.
