Call Of Duty 4 For Me thought the maps were great Smile

.. Somw Call of duty 5 maps were good too .. some great ones in the map pack

Despite the bugs/glitches in the game, Infinity ward really hit the nail on the head with the maps on Modern warfare 2! Smile

The maps in Black ops are a very close second, Nuketown being one of my favourites Smile

The maps IW made are really balanced, I'll agree that spawns we're a bit off but the reason for that was that everyone and their mothers used MLC therefore everyone was all over the map making spawns always deadly unlike in BO. In objective games spawns were a lot better.
