2) Install a previous patch via 'Install Package Files', (Jailbroken PS3s).
3) Keep the Jailbreak in while playing B.O (this will prevent the updating prompt).
Alternately, configure a proxy server to play online with? To my knowledge the only way Teyrach can obtain a ban is if you play in collaboration with their servers.
Can someone tell me if either would work?

You know nothing... .GPDs are for xbox not playstation. Plus, you can't bypass patches on xbox anyway so your theory is void both ways.
