Two Methods -
1 Controller Method and 2 Controller Method

Programs we need:
Ez GT 2.2 - Click to You must login or register to view this content.(Recommended)

Modio - Click to You must login or register to view this content.(Recommended)

USB DRIVE or Transfer Cable (I use a USB)




On the Xbox (Before) + Computer

1.Start by moving your Xbox Live Profile onto your USB DRIVE

2.Remove it from your Xbox and plug it into your computer.

3.Open Modio and click the big "M" logo at the top left corner of the program, click Explore
my Device, File, Open/Close Drive.

4.Look for your gamertag. Follow the root as shown until you reach an end file (thats your gamertag).



5.Now extract it to your desktop and open up Ez GT 2.2.

6.Click the person icon on the top right of the program, "Open" and find the the file of your gamertag you recently extracted to you desktop.

Once its open, click the "Add" tab, and erase the original gamertag name shown, and add using the buttons on the program (theres a character limit)

When your finished customizing, click the person icon, and "Save" -> "Ok", a folder will be added to your Desktop.

Open up the folder to the end file, and drag it into Modio, rehash and resign the file, then close the file.

On Modio, click the "M" again, "Explore my Device", "File", and "Open/Close Drive", now drag the whole entire folder into the right box.


Now, close Modio, eject your USB DRIVE, put into the Xbox.
On the Xbox 360 (After)

Two Controller Method

     

Play Black Ops, -dont sign in yet-, at the Main Menu click "Multiplayer"

 

At Multiplayer, Click "Xbox Live", It will ask you to sign in, choose your modded profile it should look something crazy like (^1[][][][][][][][] ) it all depends on how you customized your modded gamertags name.

 

It will ask you to select your avatar, just press the Xbox Guide button to close it, a notice may appear, press A to exit it.

 

Go down to Local -> Split-Screen. Turn on your SECOND controller and press "A" to sign in on it, although dont actually sign into a profile.

 

On your FIRST press "Join" and sign in onto your legit, non-modded gamertag that you want to play with. This gamertag must be the one you used to extract and create the modded gamertag. In other words, if I extracted EventfulPlum8's gamertag file, then I have to sign in and play with it.

 

Press B, go to "Xbox Live", it will connect to the servers... and CONGRATULATIONS! - you modded your gamertag. 

 

 

One Controller Method 

 

Play Black Ops, -dont sign in yet-, at the Main Menu click "Multiplayer"

 

At Multiplayer, click Local and sign into your modded gamertag, it will ask your to pick an Avatar just press the Xbox guide button. 

 

You should get a notice, just press A and exit it, click Local -> System Link -> Create Match -> Start Match (Read next step before doing this)

 

When you start the match immediately sign out of your modded gamertag and into the legit gamertag you are going to use for online play. (This all should be done before the loading screen disappears)

 

You will be kicked out and will get an error, press A and exit. 

 

Now press B, click "Xbox Live" -> Public Match.
