Ok i have spent many days since the release of the lan xp glitch trying to get it to stick to my online profile. Eventually i figured out that you need to have a completely new acc for it to stick and most people here on the forums, myself included most likely stopped at lvl 50 no prestige and did one of the various methods to make your lvl stick. Almost all of those methods involve playing an online ranked match after every prestige. The problem with this is that when you play a online game it connects your acc to treyarch servers so you can no longer do the glitch and make your lvl stick at what its at. So i am purposing that you do the lan glitch untill you are lvl 50 14th prestige. Once you get to this point look up one of the methods that will stick your lvl and if you do it right you shoudl hopefully be 15th prestige lvl 1. Make sure that while you are doing this you DO NOT play a online ranked game of any kind or you will be stuck at what ever lvl you played the game at. Do not ask me how to do the lan glitch there is many, many, many posts about how to do it. Also i am trying this myself as we speak and i should be done sometime tomorrow or wednesday so i will tell you if it works or not. Although you can try it if you want. Here is a simplified version of my method:

Step 1: Create a NEW ACC that has not ever played an online ranked game in CO Black Ops

Step 2: Do the lan glitch untill you reach 14th prestige lvl 50 with 10kxp left to prestige

Step 3: Go play an online ranked match untill you can prestige. Also spend a good amount of the cod points you earned, you can buy guns, perks, contracts etc. just buy something.

Step 4: Prestige

Step5:Unplug your console from the back and then plug it back in

Step 6: Start up black ops and go 2 multiplayer then check your rank

Hopefully you should be 15th prestige lvl 1

wow, how long would that take? i would want to be sure of this method before spending around 15hours trying it

sorry but i did do this wasted about 20 hours doin the lan glitch and i played for a few hours and bought several contracts and then backed out to the menu and then turned off my ps3 and turned it back on an i was reset back to level one, THIS DOES NOT WORK, PPL STOP WASTING UR TIME,

well it does work under circumstances because on a new acc i created it stuck at 1st prestige. so now im just trying this to get it stuck at 15th prestige. atleast if it does not work ppl will not waste the time i did because i will have posted it instead of just doing it and not posting and watching other ppl waste time.

well good luck cuz ur gunna feel how i felt, jus real annoyed cuz it didnt work. and "IF" it does work post proof. but i doubt it will.

ok so my question is if i delete the bops patch install a new one (being reset to lvl 1 )and start from there will it stick or no
