I'm making a video now its just my version of FRAPS is gay and keeps ****ing up, I've got a few pics of it though, basically I've just been alternating between putting the encrypted parts into upper and lowercase(even lowercase or uppercase more than once at a time and it changes into real letters/words...


BTW: The r is there in the first pic because I was trying something completely different a few hours ago when I took the screenie

Now I know what most of you will be thinking, lol? All you did was put an r there, its obvious an R fits there. This is exactly why I'm making a video, the reason I chose the exact spot where that piece of encryption was due to it being isolated from the others, so theres no room for confusion.

thats compression, if your trying to look at that file open in hxd
what your basically seeing is that file is the same as a 00000027.dat from mw2
all the compressed gsc's headers are 78 9C

that is exactly correct and this will lead to nothing still . but at least all still trying .

It's useless

This is not an encryption, its just the cfgs are not compressed like
the .gscs are. You see where it says "default_xboxlive.cfg"? Open that in a hex editor
and right after that string you will see a 0x00 then a dvar, so right after that 0x00
thats when the file starts ALL THE WAY to the next 0x00 and thats the end. btw dont
save your files in notepad++ like that, it will only corrupt them.
