Tutorial on how to Use Tool[N00bz]..

    [b]Step-One[/b]



First extract the zip file to your desktop. Open FastCryptTool.exe. Click File then click import and search for your TU3 patch_mp.ff that is included with the download. Now open the patch and it will ask you to name a new zone file, name it "\patch_mp". It'll ask you, do you want to open it now, Click no. Close the program.



[b]Step-Two[/b]

In the Config folder that comes with the Fast Crypt tool there should be a file called "Patch_mp.ini", open it. Clear all text in the file and replace the text with this.

maps/mp/gametypes/_missions.gsc 

Now open your prefered hex editor (I recommend HxD hex editor) and open the file patch_mp.zone on your C drive in your hex editor.

Search for text string missions.gsc, after the "C" in gsc you should see three .'s click on the second one and remember that offset (in my case it is A5286)

Open up windows calculator and go to View and select programmer.

Click the Hex button on the left and type in your offset and then click Dec

Take this number and put it after the maps/mp/gametypes/_missions.gsc in the patch.ini file so it looks like this :
maps/mp/gametypes/_missions.gsc 676486 then save the file.

Step-Three
Open Fast crypt Tool again. Click file and then open and open your Patch_mp.zone file that you've created before.
Click on maps/mp/gametypes/_mission.gsc and then click edit and then click Extract and put it on your Desktop don't rename it to anything else.

Step-Four
Open Notepad++ and open the file "maps/mp/gamestype/_mission.gsc" and do whatever you have to do and save the file.

Step-Five
In Fast Crypt tool click edit and click inject and then open your "maps/mp/gamestype/_mission.gsc" file. Then in Fast crypt tool. Click file export and name the file as Patch_mp.ff.[/code]

It does work; You just have too do it correct; The first tutorials out was misleading!


1. download the "thing"; then import the Tu3 patch_mp.ff. Save it as \patch_mp. Then its saves at C:

2. In the config folder there is a patch_mp, open it and copy in: [Scripts]
maps/mp/gametypes/_missions.gsc

3. Open your Hxd (hex editor), find the mission.gsc (search for it). Find the offset; bottom left; It is usual A5286, then open your windows calculator in program mode, Hex and write in that offset: You then get the number 676486. Put that in the patch_mp in the Config folder, so it looks like this: maps/mp/gametypes/_missions.gsc 676486

4. Open the fast file crypt tool and open the patch_mp.zone, then edit/extract, save it on ure desktop like it is!

5. Open the "maps/mp/gamestype/_mission.gsc" in Notepad II and edit like crazy:-)!

Well the last step how too inject it is easy and described before!
