I'm pretty sure thats a training video and not actual combat. It lacks intensity. There would be a lot more chaos and shooting if they were actually shooting at someone. As far as shooting at "nothing", thats just cover fire because regardless if you can see the enemy if you put bullets in their direction they will be reluctant stick their domes out to fire back. Also i didnt hear any radio traffic which would also be there if they were in a real combat situation. Also they were too calm about someone being shot in the head.
