The viral marketing website for Call of Duty: Black Ops has just been updated...
It was back in March that Treyarch began to tease their unannounced game. A month later and the game that was being teased was officially announced as Black Ops.
GKNOVA6 gave hints to various different aspects of the game, such as the Single Player campaign, officially announcing Zombie mode and perhaps even hinting to what additions we could expect in multiplayer. Weapons, MKULTRA, the time period and many more parts of the game were discussed in the secret teaser videos and documents.
Ever since GKNOVA6 first surfaced there has been frequent updates to the site and a few websites have also been sent secret documents to decipher,
It now looks like Treyarch are yet to give up on GKNOVA6 and will continue to update it as a way of teasing upcoming download-able content.
The newest update shows an old-fashioned countdown followed by an image which seems to resemble Leonardo da Vinci's 'Vitruvian Man' drawing. It's likely that this update is teasing the first download-able content for Black Ops, 'First Strike'. Although the pack will include multiplayer maps, it's more than likely that this is teasing the new Zombie map titled 'Ascension'.
