When you find the mystery box do not get it until you have a friend nearby. have him go to the sides then aim and scoot towards the mystery box while its closed. Whoever wants the mystery box activate it. When it opens the partner who is aiming at the box begin shooting until you need to reload. So far we have gotten good guns from the mystery box although this does not guarantee you a thunder gun every time.

We always seem to get the RPK, HK-21 and monkey bombs. We have been getting alot better guns since we started doing this.

It's called the Random Box for a reason. There is no way to make the Random Weapon Box give better weapons, it's all randomized. Yes, you could lag the box a little and it will glitch it up a bit but it's still random.

If They Seem 2 be Getting the same 3 Guns then its not Random at all

what me and my mates normally do is, just stand at the right corner of the box and open it lying down.. 4/5 times its the ray gun for us.. only works with the ones u can stand at the right of obviously

What I like to do is put my dick on the controller and buy the box with my left hand, then masturbate while it's choosing a weapon. If done correctly, you will get either the Thundergun, Ray Gun, or the Teddy Bear which at that point comes alive and becomes a 5th player, and tears shit up. I have to say, for a RANDOM WEAPON Box there seem to be quiet a few ways to definitely increase the chances of getting a good weapon.
