As of this very moment the Black ops servers are down, atleast for 99% of my friend list. I am going into the game starting it up, then when the game normally updates the playlist it says at the default 53.0.0.0. Now what should happen is if you click on Player Match the game should go into the "downloading Game Settings" screen, update the playlist then into a player match. What is happening at the moment is not what should be happening. When you click Player Match it goes into "Downloading Game Settings" then after approximately 60 seconds it comes up with an error saying "Black ops servers are unavailable, try again later or visit this site,"www.callofduty.com/blackops/status." I visited this site wich should tell you the state of the Black Ops servers, which as i expected said everything was perfect,NOT. I then Got on My PS3 instantly Flooded with messages saying"is Black Ops up. So if you are Experiencing the same thing post Below and Hopefully Trey Arch will see that they, screwed up again, SHOCKER i know.

Having the exact same problem. Turned on PS3 at 4:34PM EST and received the error message when trying to load the multiplayer game mode.

Your telling everything that people already now.

no offence but how is this old news i was playing 20 minutes ago? then the servers went down.

Not letting me play online. Maybe server are messing up cuz alot of kids got there black ops yesterday for X-Mas causing the servers to crash or something,not so sure.

i dont think it was that because 1. more people woulda been on yesterday,
and 2. when the game came out ther were 1.5Million people on and they never messed up.
