(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok there are a lot of threads relating to the LAN XP glitch although some have a bit of truth to them here are the steps in the correct way to do it and make it stick NOTE* Doing any of these steps in the wrong way will result in this not working FACT!
ok here are the steps A_FAST_BLACK_GUY is going to record a vid on this to show it is 100% working

1. Run Elite Mossy's Patch Blocker and have your stats reset
2. Turn off the patch blocker and re-install the patch
3. Start up the game and head into multiplayer
4. Navigate to LAN and setup the game, instruction here steps 1-3 + Note ---->>You must login or register to view this content.
5. Play through untill you hit level 50 with no XP left for prestiging
6. End the game by planting the bomb etc.
7. Go into player match and prestige your online account
8. Complete steps 4 - 7 again untill you are for ex. 10th prestige
9. As normal prestige you will be for ex. 11th prestige level 1, now just sit tight and wait for the contracts to update in your area. Ok now you want to head back to the main menu out of multiplayer and head back in again.
10. Once you enter playstaton network you will see that you are rank 1 then an error should come up saying that the persistant rank data has been corrupted and it will put you back to level 50 the prestige before for example 11th prestige you wll be 10th prestige level 50.
11. Now all you have to do is prestige again and carry on playing your new level and prestige has stuck.

NOTE* You cannot play any online games at all untill you have finished step 11. you must also remain in multiplayer untill you have complete step 11.failure to do any of this will result in a waste of time as the level and prestige will not stick

EDIT** Ok it has been confirmed that once you are at required prestige, you can simply go into an online match and once in, just simply pull the power cord from the back of the PS3, when you go back onto multiplayer, your level and prestige will have stuck ENJOY

no it wont it will reset u to whatever prestige ur on and level one, ive done this three times...so say ur prestige 7 level 32. u reset urself and your prestige 7 level 1.

Still confused on if i wait for contracts or prestige and then just jump straight into game skipping the whole main menu thing and just pulling out the cord in game. Anyone know?

just forget the whole waiting for contracts to update, simply when your at the prestige you want just enter an online game and pull the power cord out when you turn back on you will either get an error here you just go back into player match and prestige as the video shows or your prestige will have just stuck without getting the error i have had both i will update the steps as soon as i get back home as i'm using my phone atm will take too long hope this clears up any other questions

this is totaly false dude when you reset yourself your stats are as if you have never played the game online before which is level 1 prestige 0 so if you can reset yourself and stay at whatever prestige your on please do share it with us all

Crap! i thought it would work without the patch blocker since i was prestige 1 lvl 0 well i can confirm it does have to be reset or deranked. Sucks, oh well ill give it another try if its not patched in two days. :/

also can you buy titles etc between prestiges?

well ur false, ive done this 4-5 times now on my MAIN account.. and ive done it on another friends main account.. yes u do get all ur stats reset. bubt it keeps u at the prestige your at.. so say i was prestige 4 level 32.. it resets me to prestige 4 level 1.

iam prestige 7 level 24 or 25. if i reset myself ial be a prestige 7 level 1.

im prestige 7 level 24 with 8 mins played.. i reset myself all the time cause i dont want to do lan glitch all at once..

i very very much doubt that i am false considering all the posts etc that CONFIRM YES CONFIRM! that my thread is more than likely true not to mention the video's showing this ACTUALLY BEING DONE!
and if you are so called keeping your prestige when you reset (caugh*) BS (caugh*) please share with us the software you are using to do this like i asked in the last post

I'm not using any software just elitemossys patch blocker if u don't beilibe me add my psn or iall post a video I've done it over five times. Lemme guess u haven't tried any of this have you? This forum is to help others not to fool them. I wouldn't say it's true if I didn't do it myself try it before u say anything else

I deleted patch did patch blocker went to multiplayer and went to playstation network and it said could not connect to server i pressed ok and quit game. turn off patch blocker installed patch and went to multiplayer screen and waited till it said my stats had been reset but instead it says "account" has been corrupted so it has been restored to last known restore point... please help me with this... >.< ill pay vbux and +rep
