Did you know that the amount of registered Black Ops payers is bigger than the entire weekly audience of Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, Conan O'Brien, Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kemmel COMBINED?!?!

Well now you do. More stats found in the read more

League Champion
I think the facebook and twitter stat is the only one that surprises me.
Total registered players? That's around 8.4 million I think? And less than 900k people play at any given time. So comparing total registered versus those watching a tv show or a sport is a poor comparison.

I thought that MW2 was a failure, with comando, nuke, campers, boosters in pub matches, shear amount of XP per level, i really didnt even play it i played cod4 through the entire thing so i mean it 50/50 i guess.

It was always gonna sell well, it has Call of Duty in the title. On-top of that Activision were throwing tons and tons of money at the advertising department pre-launch; this just had to sell well, inevitably.
