But I can't get it to open properly in IDA Pro Advance 5.5.

So i was wondering if anyone could help me install the plugins for the program right or something?

you need to put these loaders into the loaders folder(C:\Program Files\IDA\loaders):
-ps3.ldw
-ps3.xml
-ps364.l64
The pack that has these is called "PS3 Loaders v1.1 for IDA 5.2"

Then for your pluggins(C:\Program Files\IDA\plugins):
-ppcaltivec.plw
-ppcaltivec64.p64
I have 5.5 also, i used the ppcaltivec-pluggin for ida v52
