Has anybody else had this? Is this normal? Any way of fixing it, or changing the sound balance?

Quite weird. I've had those headsets before and never had that problem. Try changing the sound settings of CO Black Ops in game. Either headset or stereo since px21's are 2.1 sound channel.

well theres a thing that if u use expander it blows ur right earcup out

I bought some PX21's today too. Try setting the speaker setup to Surround Headphones in Black Op Options.
