(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently found way to downgrade to patch 1.03 on black ops CFW 3.55 without being reset so here it is.

first of all download these 2 patch updates:

put the files on the root of your usb just in case you don't know where the root of your usb is, when you go to your computer and double click/right click, open your usb that is the root of your usb (do not put them in any folders)

so delete the 1.05 patch, install patch 1.02, after the patch has installed, use elite mossy patch blocker or anon proxy to set up a proxy so your not prompted to download the latest patches/updates

start the game on 1.02 go to multiplayer, go to play online, when you get the connect message appear, hold down the home button on your controller and quit the game before you get an error message,

this is important if you get the error message you will most likely get deranked/reset.

so once you have done that, do not delete patch 1.02 just update it to patch 1.03 from the install packages.

go onto black ops, go online and you should connect without getting reset




QUICK GUIDE:

download patches.

install patch 1.02

set up patch blocker/anon proxy

start up black ops on patch 1.02

go to multiplayer

try and play online

when it says connect hold the ps button until screen goes black and quit game

update patch 1.02 to 1.03.

go online

you shouldn't get reset.

i did that but i quit the game before the error appears maybe this is the problem. i'll try it once more

It says call of duty servers not available.

i don't see how it says servers unavailable i was on it earlier, about 2 - 3 hours ago, i live in england so maybe english servers for patch 1.03 still up?

i know this deffinetly works, i tested it 4 times without any errors appearing or getting reset, i could play online and everything, i will test it again in 5 minutes

you need custom firmware 3.55, to get this go to You must login or register to view this content., scroll down until you see a picture of a ps3 with blue fire, click it, download 3.55 install it via usb on the system update, make sure the usb is formated to fat32, make a folder PS3 inside that folder UPDATE, rename the CFW PS3UPDAT.pup put it into update folder and update your ps3 with it, then you follow the guide i have on this page.

File didn't show up. I put in usb as it was after i DL'd and extracted

you cant play online in the 1.03 server

first of all you can play online on them, i get no error message i can garentuee you that, i wish i had a recording device so i could show you's, second of all, im not sure if this does work, i might not have gotten reset because when i was testing it, i didn't keep re-installing the 1.05 patch because i would have had to keep coming off proxy, i just done it twice by downloading 1.05 and i got reset both times, i was level 1 before i got reset, but i was prestige 1 level 50 before aswell im still prestige 1 level 50 in combat training so im not 100% sure whats going on, usally when you get reset your cb training does aswell, im sorry about this everyone, im going to continue testing it mods close this until further notice please, i will repost if i get it working and im 100% sure it is working


but i can assure you's that 1.03 is playable.
