(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have the Astro A40 gaming headset/microphone. I was wondering if I connected it to my computer or something would I be able to record my voice for my youtube channnel commentaries, like as a voice over that gets added in during editing.

If not, whats a good, relatively inexpensive, microphone I can use to record my voice for commentaries?
If I can use my astros, how would I set it up to record like that?

You should be able to use about any mic to make commentaries. But to record your voice. My computer has a program that records your voice so i just add voice to that and then start that file at the beginning of my video. If you are doing a commentary i have a contest 200k to winner You must login or register to view this content.

Yes. I have some Tritton AX-720's and used those to commentate this video.

I have to say the audio is pretty clear. If you have windows just use sound recorder, should come with it.
