This is a fake glitch. He got in there using the noclip mod.
You can tell he is using mods by watching his ammo at 0:34 or so when he shoots his Ray gun. The ammo stays at 39-40 the whole time. He tried covering up with annotations but you can still kinda see, especially on an iPod because annotations are turned off.
