Also please note your gonna need some imagination to understand this thread but im sure u can do it.

Now as we know it Call of duty is one of the biggest game series in the world.
There for it has one of the biggest gaming communities as well.

That is what leads to it's downfall. To prove my point i will give a example.
e.g Say your sitting down in a class room with say 20-30 class mates and you teacher hands you a task.
Teacher: I want you all to pick a sport for the whole class to play but everyone has to agree.

Straight away people are going to give idea's of what they wanna do then they will use a method to see if every one is happy with it, say putting your hand up. Now unless your whole class loves say, football then only a select few are going to be happy with it. This is saying that your class is a mixture of different people witch the COD community is.

So if we change it from a class of 20-30 people to about 20-30 million (or more) all it does it add more frustration.
Now you could also change the topic to a method a lot of people are getting killed say the same old gun/noob tube/quick scope/ak-74u it going to frustrate them and to ease the frustration they call it cheap or sad or even a easy way of getting kills. (getting flagged appon) Whether that is the case it's still gonna happen. This is one of the reasons people post so many AK-47u posts on this thread.

So again if we change the topic to say the teacher is going to pick a sport to play and the class doesn't have a say in it at all. Still everyone is not going to be happy but they play it anyways cause they wanna play with there friends.

Now change that story (for lack of a better word) to a cod game the teacher would be IW/3arc and make a game for you to play. But once again every one is not going to be happy because no one will ever make a game to make everyone happy. But there is a difference we have a choice you don't have to play the game! But we still play it to be with our friends.

People don't want to admit that Black Ops isn't better than MW2. but they refuse to give MW2 credit, that's why you keep hearing about COD4.

I find Black Ops to be a tad boring but only because of the maps, I love everything else. It's a great game. Whether people want to admit it or not MW2 was a great game.

Talking about COD4 is no different than saying, "the NBA was so much better when Jordan was around"...Whether that's true or not we gotta move on.

Black Ops takes some skill as far as killing unlike Noobtubing in MW2. So the people who are terrible at BO either were these MW2 noobtubers or they got buttraped by noobtubers in MW2.

It's a whole list of factors that make people hate this game. And sometimes i think people forget that it's (if this is the right term for it) more of an arcade style shooter, run and gun, simple. Dont expect any strategy in this game unless you're playing with a full clan on pubs or GB's. Playing solo has no element of strategy at all...

I don't completely agree with this. If you're all in pre-school or kindergarten, this analogy might work. But, most of us are high school and up. If a teacher let the students decide what to do, it would be extremely chaotic and pointless. ONLYUSEmeBLADE made an amazing analogy on the Painkiller Already podcast, saying something along the lines of: It's like a movie or play. Would you want the actors or director to constantly ask you what you want to see next? It would be improv then, and wouldn't really turn out so well. The other option would be if you were to like the movie to be scripted so that it'll go in one way directly, but some changes can be made. That'd be a lot better.

i disagree. a lot of the weapons in BOs require a lot of skill. you try to use a sniper in a close quarters map. might not be practical but a lot of people use snipers. you try it and see if your still right

Just because a gun is at a consistent disadvantage to the other weapons in a game doesn't mean it takes a good amount of skill... a good amount more than anything else on BO yes, but that is all.

I agree but the only thing i loved about cod was the sniping and well BO ruined that with all the last stand and impossible to win a 1v1 battle.

Well it was massively overpowered, and everybody who played BC2 complained about it. If you have not even heard of the C2 I don't you think that you can say that BC2 was perfectly balanced.

It wasn't me that said it was balanced.
